Dublin Herbalists Skincare Routines
We believe that natural skincare is the best option for our lives, it is kind to nature and kind to our skin. One benefit working in this company is that there is always something wonderful being made downstairs, and the smells are intoxicating! Us women here at Dublin Herbalists all use our products in our everyday lives, we are a “practice what you preach company”! Working here we have all gained so much knowledge about how to look after our skin, and a daily routine is a must. I have compiled our best products below that I use on an everyday basis……
Morning Routine – to prep my skin for the day:
- Cleanse
My morning cleanse helps me to remove all oils and grime from the night before. Our Every Day Cleansing Gel is a 3-in-1 cleanser that transforms from a gel to a cleansing oil to a moisturising milk, unblocking my pores. Activated by water, this revolutionary cleanser hydrates while it cleans, leaving fresh, glowing skin.
- Toner
After a cleanse I tone to balance the pH of my skin, and also to get rid of any remaining dirt. Suitable for all skin types, our Refreshing Facial Toner is designed to protect pores while brightening up tired skin. Our unique blend of Rose and Witch Hazel are delicately blended with Cucumber Extract and D-Panthenol that work together to protect the skin.
- Regenerating face cream
The third product in my routine is our Regenerating face cream. Containing the three anti-aging ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid, Liftonin and Co-Enzyme Q10, it is designed to deeply moisturise and help support skin’s natural radiance. Our other two face creams, Rejuvenating and Revitalising would also work great for those with younger or sensitive skin.
- SPF and makeup
A bit of SPF and a touch of mascara and I am ready for the day!
Night Routine – After a long day of work, family and fitness classes, my skin is tired. I like to wind down for the evening by relaxing into my night-time routine.
- Double cleanse
First up is our Exfoliating Cleansing Gel with Bamboo and Cupuaçu. This is another 3-in-1 cleanser which gives a deep but gentle exfoliating cleanse. I use the reusable bamboo face pads to remove make-up and clean my face. Made from 70% organic bamboo and 30% organic cotton, these pads feel soft and gentle on my skin. Once again, I use the everyday cleansing gel for my 2nd cleanse. Double cleansing with both gels has so many benefits. The 1st cleanse will remove the sweat, dirt and makeup from my skin, and the 2nd will deep clean my skin and give a nice clear surface for the next products.
- Serum
Our Hydrating Face Serum combines active ingredients Wu Zhu Extract and Rosemary Antioxidants with the natural moisturising properties of Argan and Jojoba Oils to create a powerful formula for intense hydration. I always apply it on damp skin as it works best when it has moisture to work with.
- Eye Cream
After that, I use my 2 favourites in the regenerating range to finish my routine. Our all-natural, anti-aging Elevating Eye Cream has been specially developed to strengthen and hydrate the delicate skin around the eyes. Enhanced with powerful properties of Eyebright Glycerol, Co-Enzyme Q10 and Eco Marine Algae Extract, it deeply moisturises while reducing the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.
- Night cream
Final step in my routine, our Regenerating Night Cream. This is packed with Açaí Berry Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Blueberry Seed Oil, Lingonberry Fruit Extract, Co-Enzyme Q10, and much more. This rich array of nutrients and antioxidants infused with Omega 3 and Vitamin C provides your skin with everything it needs to restore and regenerate while you sleep.
